I wanted to review The Mindy Project - Season 5, which I consider one of the best tv series ever made. The Mindy Project - Season 5 has the most beautiful ending you can think of. If a tv show can manipulate me to stay on the whole without bat of an eye, that's fucking impressive. Everyone pretty much knows that it is one of the greatest tv series ever made. It's taken me multiple rewatches and a lot of hours on the wikipedia so I finally understood everything. The amount of details and little aspects of the tv show that you can find years later is really amazing. Very interesting tv show, honestly.... Show more

Plot summary:

Finding herself in a love triangle, Mindy must choose between Jody and Danny. A nurses' strike spearheaded by a new male nurse shakes Shulman & Associates to its core. Meanwhile, Mindy cares for a sick Leo; Jody puts the upstairs apartment on the market; and Brendan asks Mindy for help with a new project. Amidst the continuing nurses' strike, Mindy finds herself having feelings for handsome pediatric nurse Ben, while the stress of the situation is becoming too much for Jeremy. The practice needs a doctor until Jeremy is back on his feet following his heart attack, but Mindy has reservations about the new ob-gyn's gender. Meanwhile, Ben's living situation could be a deal breaker for Mindy. When Mindy discovers that she and Ben aren't exclusive, she decides to go on a date with a dashing theater actor. The nurses try to cheer up a still-dejected Jody.Mindy flees New York on the eve of Danny's wedding and goes home to Massachusetts, where she discovers something unusual about her mother's acting career.Ben goes on a morning talk show to host a segment on medical matters, but his disinterest in becoming a celebrity makes Mindy worry that they don't share the same ambitions. Still reeling from her breakup with Ben, Mindy finds herself living the same day over and over again, and realizes that the only way to break the spell is to make things right with Ben.Mindy panics when her new hot boyfriend Ben doesn't invite her to his daughter's bat-mitzvah. Meanwhile, Jody, claiming he's over his heartache, dates Mindy's doppelganger. A visit from Ben's ex-wife doesn't bring out Mindy's best side. Meanwhile, Anna is reluctant to ask her colleagues for help. A heartbroken Anna grieves her breakup at Mindy's place, while Jody and Jeremy compete for her affection. Morgan, trying to jump-start his dating life, blows up at Colette's new girlfriend, Karen, when she accidentally interrupts his make out session.Mindy is unfairly passed over for a promotion and goes to bed wishing things were different. She wakes up in th ebody of a handsome white man and quickly discovers the perks that come with white male privilege.Mindy's world is turned upside down when her cool friend from childhood moves to New York and starts dating Morgan. Meanwhile, Ben has to cover his tracks after the nurses spot him in a provocative situation.Mindy hears that Ben might be planning to propose, just as she decides she never wants to get married. Colette and Karen get engaged, but Colette immediately gets cold feet.
