Under vargens skinn is a simple movie, but it has a lot to offer the viewer. The term 'Best' is as you know a relative term. What you or I consider as the best may not even be in someone else's list. So the general rule is to proclaim the one which majority of the folks like as the best. Nevertheless, according to me the following can be regarded as some of the finest movie ever made. The hollywood doesn't have large number of better movies than Under vargens skinn. The tension of the characters draws the audience in from the start. I think that it is authentic, although not as strong as in the films I mentioned in the introduction. The entrance song still gives me cold goosebumps. Plot summary:
At the end of the 19th century. Martinon, a man of few words and unfriendly is living in the high mountains, he's the last person a ghost town where he goes his days looking after the house and game animals such as deer and wolves. Alone and without contact with other people all over the year except if it falls with the skins of animals to the next town to trade in one of these visits his friend Severino advise him a woman to have hunted down and start a family. In connection with the idea Martinon makes a deal with Ubaldo to buy one of his daughters, Pascual, live in the mountains with him as his partner. Although Pascual tried the environment hard and cold, Martinon patrols adapt in the woods all day hoping to hunt for new conquests. But Pascual health and eventually dies worse, and Martinon recognizes that the child had expected was a different man. Furious by fraudsters Martinon returns to town claiming Ubaldo recover the money and sold skins. You can not give him that asks ...... Show more
