Thousand Pieces of Gold is really good production from year 1990. If a film can manage to keep me hooked for the whole time, that's impressive. The hollywood doesn't have large number of better movies than Thousand Pieces of Gold. Anyway, this genre may boast of one of the larger number of titles. I've been searching for more movie online like this. The film director once again proved that his entire film can focus the attention of the viewer. Plot summary:
In 1880 in China young Lalu is sold in marriage by her impoverished father. Instead of becoming a bride, Lalu ends in Idaho gold mining town where the property of the owner of the hall, which changes its name Polly China and plans to sell it as entertainment for the residents. Refuse to be a whore, Lalu eventually find their way in this strange land with white devils filled.
