For me, this movie is one of the best movies released in the year 1988. In the United States The Accidental Tourist was one of the most popular movies of 1988. These days, new movies coming to the cinema, do not have 'something' hidden in this film. The Accidental Tourist is definitely one of these movies that you can watch several times and always find something new, and something interesting. I think that it is authentic, although not as strong as in the films I mentioned in the introduction. The film director once again proved that his entire film can focus the attention of the viewer. Plot summary:
After the death of his son, Macon Leary, a travel writer, sleep walking through life appears to be. Macon woman seems to be in trouble and thought it would be best if both just split. After breaking Macon meets a strange outgoing woman who seems to bring him back on Earth.
