Lilyhammer - Season 1

It's already the rule, that tv series produced by Eilif Skodvin are always at least good. Lilyhammer - Season 1 has the most beautiful ending you can think of. The term 'Best' is as you know a relative term. What you or I consider as the best may not even be in someone else's list. So the general rule is to proclaim the one which majority of the folks like as the best. Nevertheless, according to me the following can be regarded as some of the finest tv show ever made. There are some stages in this tv show that I will remember until death. I didn't notice anything wrong in Lilyhammer - Season 1. There are so many images, details and scenes that I seriously cannot get out of my head since watching it for the first time. Plot summary:

Frank Tagliano (Steven Van Zandt) is a former New York mobster, who after testifying in a trial in the United States, joins the witness protection program. Intrigued by the place after watching the Winter Olympics in 1994, he is relocated to Lillehammer in Norway. The transition from being a feared and respected gangster in New York, to becoming an unemployed immigrant in Norway, is not simple. Frank soon discovers that in order to succeed in this rural Norwegian society, he must resort to his old ways.
