A Death in the Gunj is a simple movie, but it has a lot to offer the viewer. I don't watch many movies online from Drama genre, but this one was amazing. These days, new movies coming to the cinema, do not have 'something' hidden in this film. Anyway, this genre may boast of one of the larger number of titles. I think that it is authentic, although not as strong as in the films I mentioned in the introduction. And everything could not be so beautiful without a director, a true cinematic genius. Plot summary:
Death in Gunj is the coming age story that Shutu, our hero and his conflicting notions of masculinity focused around. He takes to navigate blurred lines, what in the world is acceptable in society and questions its own place. Daily numbness in the adults around him adds to his intense feelings of isolation, despite being surrounded by his family. Emotional abuse that we, as a society that is on the other unconscious, which is the total leads to a kind of destruction question irrevocable.
