Really fantastic movie, my favorite in Drama category. If a film can manage to keep me hooked for the whole time, that's impressive. I know it's know from being a mainstream popular movie, but honestly it's a really entertaining film. The mood is complemented by well-chosen music. I still remember the first time I watched Wet Season online. It was simply an amazing experience that I remember to this day. The film director once again proved that his entire film can focus the attention of the viewer. I really recommend this movie to everyone, watch and enjoy.... Show more
Plot summary:
As Mandarin-language teacher Ling continues with fruitless IVF treatment while taking care of her ailing father-in-law, she finds herself slowly drawn towards a promising student who seems to have been abandoned by his parents. Outside it's monsoon season, but Ling's inner turmoil looks set to get her into a heap of trouble.
